I recently started the fun new adventure of taking care of plants! I bought two succulents, a Graptosedum Vera Higgins (left) and a Pachyveria Schedeckeri (right), and I think I understand children now. When I first bought them I did as much research as I could before I replanted them because I had no idea what to do. I replanted them, being as fragile and thoughtful as I could, but apparently I did it wrong. I watered them once they were re-potted, which was wrong because watering them could hurt their already fragile roots. I didn’t get any special soil for them, but these particular plants aren’t very picky with soil. In all honesty, I probably prodded over them too much when I replanted them, but hey, they survived the replanting process. I hung them up in front of the window in my room, hopping they’d get enough light. I don’t get a whole lot of light in my room so I’m hoping good vibes will keep them alive. As my plants grow, I’ll write updates on what I’m doing and reading about succulent care. This will be an interesting, and probably slightly stressful, section. Enjoy!
