Every Last Word by Tamara Ireland Stone is an insanely intriguing read. I was captured by the book the moment I opened it. The main character, Sam, struggles with Purely-Obsessional OCD which was fascinating to read about because I knew close to nothing about it, but this book taught me so much. This book wasn’t just interesting to read because of the unique character trait, but because it related so much to so many people. As you read this book, you learn about the struggles that everyone around you could be facing. You could look at someone, thinking they have it all together, thinking they have it all, when they’re just falling apart inside. Every Last Word really emphasizes that aspect of life. After reading this book, I doubt that I’ll ever think someone has it together because of how they look or act around people they don’t truly know. This book also demonstrates how much people can change overtime, how much someone can change before your eyes. It shows how you might feel people drifting away, and how that could be a good thing in some cases. This book was exhilarating to read because of all of the ways that I could connect it to my life in a strange way. I absolutely loved reading Every Last Word, and I would recommend it to people who are looking for the perfect combination of light and heavy content.
